One of the hottest topics in healthcare right now is RPA (Robotic Process Automation). We’re seeing it pop up everywhere and for good reason. Good RPA can automate the mundane tasks that are wasting your staff’s time. Plus, done right it can improve the quality of the output as well.
At the HIMSS conference, Hyland was doing demos of their RPA Solution and we wanted to learn more. In the video below, you’ll learn more from Ashley Ljubi, Sales Solution Engineer at Hyland, about healthcare RPA. Ljubi shares what RPA is and how it can be used to emulate a person. If a person can click it, RPA can as well. Plus, she highlights a number of the most common RPA use cases they see with healthcare organizations. Here’s a quick preview of some of the healthcare RPA use cases she shares:
A few other things that makes Hyland RPA special is their tool called Hyland RPA Analyst which records the clicks of uses to see how various staff are doing the same process. You can learn if some are skipping a step. Plus, Hyland RPA Analyst can produce the start of a new RPA workflow. Ljubi also highlighted how their RPA solution is a low code approach that doesn’t require a programmer to create the automation. Plus, she highlighted their exception engine. One of the cool features of their exception engine is that it does a screenshot when the exception happens. Anyone that’s debugged an automated process understands how useful that screenshot can be.
