< + > Surprising Perspectives from ViVE2023

At #ViVE2023 several companies stopped by to share their perspectives on the state of healthcare. Leaders from CereCore, Kyruus, Mytonomy, and NTT DATA all had very interesting and surprising observations.

Growing Number of EHR Cloud Migration Projects – CereCore

Peyman Zand, Chief Strategy Officer at CereCore shared his perspective on the latest EHR trends. CereCore helps healthcare organizations around the world with project-based and managed IT services. Although there continues to be a lot of effort being put to EHR optimization projects, he is seeing a growing number of EHR cloud migration projects.

Better Provider Matching Helps Balance Patient Load – Kyruus

Last year, Kyruus completed the acquisition of ePion to add patient engagement capability to their leading search and scheduling platform. When Dr. Graham Gardner, CEO at Kyruus dropped in at ViVE2023, I wanted to get his perspective on whether we will see more M&A activity on the Health IT front. We also spoke about how improving search and provider matching can help organizations better balance patient load.

Expanding to Staff Engagement – Mytonomy

Founded in 2016, Mytonomy offers a patient education and engagement platform. Anjali Kataria, CEO at Mytonomy stopped by at ViVE2023 to share that the company was selected to be part of Amzaon Web Service’s (AWS) new global cohort for healthcare workforce improvements. Only 23 companies were chosen to be part of this cohort. Mytonomy will be collaborating with AWS to fully leverage the cloud solutions to expand their platform to improve staff engagement and education.

More Awareness Needed for Care-at-Home Options – NTT DATA

A recent survey by NTT DATA on care at home yielded a surprising result. Lisa Esch, SVP of Strategy & Innovation for Healthcare at NTT DATA shared with us that over 50% of the thousand people surveyed did not know they had the option of receiving care at home. Healthcare organizations that offer this form of care may want to step up their efforts to make more patients aware of this option. If they don’t patients may opt to seek care elsewhere.

Be sure to check out all of our coverage of the ViVE conference.
