It’s been a while since we’ve done a Fun Friday article and so we have to remedy that today. What can I say? It’s been really busy with so much content coming out of the ViVE and HIMSS conferences. However, I think we can all use a little fun as well. For those not familiar with Fun Friday, it’s a chance for us to let our hair down and share a little humor as we head into the weekend. This week’s Fun Friday definitely puts into perspective all the crazy (good and bad) that’s happening in the world of health IT.

Between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, I’m pretty sure we could solve all of healthcare’s ills. If I didn’t know better, I’d think that this video was fake and generated by AI. What it does remind me is that humans are incredible and we have a much bigger capacity than most of us realize. Plus, we should reward and recognize those on our teams that perform amazing work.

This one may be a bit controversial, but I’ll leave the controversy of climate change and the end of the human race for another website. However, it did make me think that we’re in an interesting race with AI right now. I think AI is running a lot faster than most of us realize. The exponential curve of what AI can do now and will be able to do over the next few years is going to be amazing to watch. As with any technology, it comes with amazing upside and some scary downsides. In the next Healthcare IT Today podcast we talk about it.
