- Among the proposals in the CMS 2025 Medicare OPPS and ASC payment system proposed rule is a one-year extension of the voluntary reporting of core clinical data elements. The EHR Association supports the extension, noting that the majority of hospitals have been struggling to meet these requirements.
- WEDI wants stronger requirements for including diagnosis codes on Good Faith Estimations for insured individuals, the organization stated in a letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra.
- Children’s National Hospital’s Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation awarded four $50,000 grants to pediatric medical device vendors focused on addressing substance misuse in adolescents.

- A survey from Arcadia found 96% of healthcare technology leaders believe effectively leveraging AI provides a competitive edge, and 73% said AI will be essential technology within the next five years.
- Nearly 3 in 4 (72%) of healthcare executives are strongly satisfied with their cloud migration, according to Infosys research. That said, on average organizations have only used 44% of the cloud resources they’ve committed to.

- Wolters Kluwer Health launched a dedicated mpox resource center providing free, online access to evidence-based information about the disease.
- Kontakt.io introduced the Sticker Tag, an ultra-thin, adhesive Bluetooth tag for tracking small items as they move throughout the hospital.
- Paige unveiled Paige Alba, which uses clinical-grade AI to assess medical records and imaging data to create patient-specific summaries for pathologists and oncologists.
- Lindus Health introduced contract research organization and technology services for ophthalmology clinical trials.
