- Amazon launched Health AI, an agent offering free 24/7 access to virtual care for Prime members on the Amazon website and app. In addition, Amazon Pharmacy expanded access to Zepbound KwikPen, Eli Lilly’s multi-dose injectable treatment for weight management.
- Microsoft launched Copilot Health to bring together health records, wearable data, and health history in a secure space within Copilot. Microsoft is partnering with HealthEx for identity verification, data connections, and access controls.
Studies
- A Softheon survey found 74% of U.S. adults would likely choose a health plan from a local hospital or health system if it cost about the same as other options.
- A WEDI survey found 10% of payers and 33% of providers haven’t even started implementing APIs related to the Advancing Interoperability and Improving Prior Authorization Final Rule, which has a compliance deadline of January 1, 2027.
- Roughly two-thirds of Americans say upfront pricing is very important for prescriptions, according to a report from medication access company PHIL.

- Codoxo launched of Deepfake Detection to help health plans identify AI-generated or manipulated medical documentation and images submitted with claims.
- GoTo launched GoTo Connect for Healthcare, an omnichannel patient communications solution designed for small practices.
- i-GENTIC AI released a suite of agents to assist medical device companies in preparing 510(k) submissions to the FDA.
- Milliman health data analytics subsidiary Milliman MedInsight announced enhancements to its Value-Based Care Platform.
- Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent note generation is now available in the United States for inpatient and ED settings.
- Eye care EHR and practice management vendor Sightview updated Sightview Pay and Sightview Patient Engagement.
- ThoroughCare, a care management technology vendor, unveiled TC Compass for synthesizing patient data.

- West Virginia University Health System is expanding its deployment of Abridge enterprise-grade AI platform across its multi-state network.
- Massachusetts-based Lahey Hospital & Medical Center implemented Able Innovations‘ ALTA Platform for lateral patient transfers.
- Solera Senior Living implemented Inspiren for virtual rounding, alerting, and care planning; one Las Vegas-based facility saw a 54% reduction in ED visits and hospitalizations.

- Data integration platform Aquila emerged from stealth and appointed Dr. Jaime Bland as CEO.
- Data analytics vendor Cotiviti appointed Ric Sinclair as CEO, effective March 16.
- Data intelligence company eClinical Solutions hired Lauren Whitsell as Chief Operating Officer and appointed Venu Mallarapu as Chief Transformation and AI Officer.
