- Plenty of headlines from Nashville and the Oracle Health Summit. The biggest news: Oracle Health previewed previewed a next-generation EHR “designed to embed AI across the entire clinical workflow,” with conversational search, voice-driven navigation, and automated chart review.
- In addition, Oracle Health announced two cloud applications for patient engagement and support: Oracle Health Patient Portal and Oracle Health Patient Administration.
- Oh, and the company kicked off the summit by announcing Oracle Health intends to become a QHIN.
Reports and Other News
- Nearly all consumers (95%) want an easier way to pay medical bills, and 75% of consumers say their doctors don’t take an intuitive approach to billing, according to a Flywire survey.
- Only 10% of Internet of Medical Things devices are running anti-malware software, according to a Forescout report.
- The latest report from Peterson Health Technology Institute concluded digital hypertension solutions warrant broader adoption, especially if they come with medication management features.
- A Gozio Health survey found 80% of healthcare leaders say their solutions for patient self-management are only somewhat effective.
- Amid cybersecurity threats and a legislative push for minimum cybersecurity standards, a Software Advice survey found one-third of healthcare organizations lack a cybersecurity incident response plan.

- Smartphone-based health assessment tool Helfie can now be licensed directly through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
- Patient activation vendor Phreesia achieved Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Health EHR Expertise. In other company news, Phreesia renewed its contract with CMMI through 2029 to support the kidney care alternative payment model.
- Healthcare job marketplace Vivian Health and RightSourcing partnered to develop Fast Track, which helps staffing agencies match postings with qualified candidates.
- Remote care vendor Brook Health is collaboration with Linus Health, which enables early detection of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, to create same-day, home-based treatment plans.
- Clearwater is collaborating with Guidehouse to offer six cybersecurity solutions to healthcare organizations.

- Inovalon announced several new and updated products, including Eligibility Verification Pro for patient insurance verification and Converged Outreach Connectors for sharing member data using FHIR APIs.
- GoodRx rolled out its ecommerce platform with Opill contraceptive as its launch partner.
- EHR data network Truveta announced Truveta Tru, a research assistant powered by generative AI.
- Clinical-grade NLP vendor emtelligent announced emtelliPro+, its AI assistant.
- athenahealth launched Ambient Notes, which provides clinicians access to tools such as Suki AI and iScribe AI.
- ModMed launched automated commissions reporting within the ModMed Practice Management System.
- Real-time location service vendor Kontakt.io launched two applications, Kio Staff Safe Alerts for incident response and Kio Nurse for monitoring equipment.
- Andros unveiled Andros Arc, the latest iteration of its provider network optimization platform.
- SmarterDx launched SmarterDenials, which automates the process of appealing to claims denials.

- Clinical staff management vendor Axuall announced three new users: Virginia’s Inova Health System, Indiana’s Community Health Network, and payer relationship management vendor PayrHealth.
- California’s Alameda County Health selected Innovaccer to help improve technology infrastructure for its Social Health Information Exchange.
- New Hampshire-based Cottage Hospital adopted ShiftMed to support per diem acute care scheduling.
- Indiana-based Summit Radiology selected Merge for PACS, VNA, and workflow orchestration.

- CHIME named 26 organizations as Level 10 in its Digital Health Most Wired survey; that’s the highest number in the 25-year history of the list.
- Private insurance marketplace eHealth achieved HITRUST i1 certification for its carrier integration platform.
