News
- ASTP released a draft of United States Core Data for Interoperability v6, with six new data elements. The public comment period on the draft is open until April 14, and final release of USCDI v6 is targeted for July.
- Roughly 183 million patient records were exposed in 2o24, according to a report from Fortified Health Security. That’s a 9% jump from 2023. Not surprisingly, clearinghouses saw the biggest increase in attacks.
- A survey from QGenda found 74% of healthcare organizations still rely on manual processes for workforce management tasks, and 92% of leaders said automating these tasks would improve productivity.
- Two-thirds of healthcare organizations are considering bringing workloads from the public cloud back to private or on-premise clouds, according to the 2025 State of the Cloud report form Rackspace.

- NVIDIA announced partnerships with IQVIA, Illumina, Mayo Clinic, and Arc Institute to develop AI agents, AI instruments, and AI robots for care delivery and drug discovery.
- VC firm General Catalyst and Amazon Web Services announced a partnership to develop AI tools.
- Meanwhile, Teladoc Health is now available through Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector.
- Genomic data company Helix added three health systems to its Helix Research Network: TriHealth, Parkview Health, and Rochester Regional Health.
- Pricing data products from ClearCost Health have been integrated with Tendo’s Care Connect marketplace.
- CalmWave is collaborating with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to further its mission to combat alarm fatigue in the ICU.
- NEC and Biomy signed a joint marketing partnership to develop analytical platforms for digital pathology.

- At CES 2025, Asahi Kasei Microdevices unveiled sensors to power fall detection and wristband-based thermometers.
- Data platform Arcadia announced an AI-powered precision medicine tool for identifying patients with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed conditions.
- Veradigm added SDoH and mortality data to its ambulatory EHR database.
- Personal emergency response system LogicMark expanded access to devices through Medicaid waivers in six states.
- MindBowser unveiled QConnect AI, a library of AI tools for healthcare task automation.

- The University of Maryland Medical System chose PeriGen as its analytics and decision support partner for NEST , its real-time remote fetal monitoring center.
