- OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Health, announced a waitlist for interested users, and said b.well Connected Health will provide ChatGPT Health’s underlying connectivity infrastructure. Additional launch partners included WeightWatchers, which is integrating GLP-1 nutrition guidance, and Function, which will summarize lab results.
- DirectTrust announced new versions of program criteria for its 28 accreditation programs, which includes a new AI program and updated privacy and security programs.
Studies
- AI represented 46% of healthcare technology investment in 2025, according to Silicon Valley Bank. Overall, investment was close to $47 billion, which was 12% less than 2024.
- Nearly two in three healthcare organizations lack AI anomaly detection, according to a Kiteworks report. A similar percentage (68%) are running manual incident response playbooks.
- About 60% of patients report delaying or skipping medical care because of cost, according to a survey from Alphaeon, and 89% wish there was an easier way to pay medical bills.
- One in three eligible heart failure patients are not being treated with guideline-recommended beta blockers, according to research from Motive Medical Intelligence.
