- DirectTrust reported nearly 1.9 billion Direct exchange transactions in 2025, a 42% increase over the previous year. Meanwhile, ASTP/ONC announced nearly 500 million records have been exchanged through TEFCA since it went live 2 years ago.
- The Sequoia Project published two guidance documents: One on aligning state health data laws with national technical standards and another on helping healthcare organizations manage patient consent.
- About two dozen provider groups and other healthcare stakeholders launched AI Care Standard, which focuses exclusively on AI that communicates directly with patients.

- A survey from Clearsense and CHIME found only 20% of CIOs have an application rationalization program in place, even though 76% say it’s critical to their application portfolio management strategy.
- Healthcare accounted for 22% of all disclosed ransomware attacks in 2025, according to the latest research from BlackFog.
- Research from Tebra found 44% of patients say wellness content on TikTok made them feel more informed, even though 36% say TikTok is rarely a reliable source of medical advice. Meanwhile, 58% of providers say TikTok is harming long-term health literacy.

- Medical supply delivery vendor CCS is partnering with SweetSpot, a remote diabetes management company, to expand access to remote care.
- Emids is partnering with ServiceNow to help healthcare organizations automate complex administrative operations.
- Dentists and sleep care providers using devices from Vivos Therapeutics can now distribute SoundHealth wearables.

- Life sciences lab and data management company Cenevo introduced two AI agents.
- EBSCO Clinical Decisions launched Dyna AI Mode, an AI interface within its decision support suite.
- GE HealthCare launched ReadyFix, a remote fleet management solution that integrates with GE resting electrocardiogram workstations.
- Customer experience company Horatio launched HoratioHX to help healthcare organizations scale patient support, operations, and RCM.
- Imprivata added passwordless authentication, identity verification, and risk signaling to Enterprise Access Management.
- IntelePeer introduced SmartAgent Collections to improve revenue recovery for dental service organizations and specialty care providers.
- Keragon launched Keragon AI to help administrative and clinical teams build and deploy HIPAA-compliant automations.
- Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, Clinical Note is now available in the United Kingdom. In addition, Illinois-based Hillsboro Health is implementing Oracle Health Foundation EHR as well as Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent and Oracle Health Seamless Exchange.
- Pharmacy navigation company Scripta Insights added secure electronic fax communications.
- Spring Health announced VERA-MH, an open-source framework for evaluating how AI chatbots behave in high-risk mental health conversations.

- Florida’s Tampa General Hospital extended its deployment of AGFA HealthCare‘s Enterprise Imaging Cloud.
- Southern California’s KPC Health is deploying Altera Digital Health‘s Paragon Denali EHR across the organization.
- Cat Lake First Nation ᐱᔑᐎᓴᑲᐃ ᑲᓂᒃ chose TytoCare to support advanced diagnostic virtual care in fly-in and ice-road-only regions of Northern Ontario.
- Aspen Dental implemented VideaHealth AI technology at more than 1,100 offices.
- Mayo Clinic collaborated with Ubie to develop a single interface for patients across primary care units; the organizations also plan to develop chronic disease management modules.
- Home care provider Compassus is expand its use of WellBeam to strengthen care coordination with health systems.
- The Colorectal Cancer Alliance selected xCures to implement TEFCA Individual Access Services to BlueHQ, its patient support hub.

- Median Technologies received FDA clearance for eyonis LCS, which is intended for lung cancer screening, detection, and diagnosis.
- Digital adoption support company Whatfix launched its Healthcare Industry Vertical.

- Palliative care provider Vynca appointed Dr. Jill Schwartz-Chevlin as Chief Medical Officer.
- Clinical documentation platform Ambience Healthcare appointed Mike Valli as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Value Officer.
