- As healthcare costs continue to climb, Buzz Health found that nearly 1 in 5 Americans left without filling a prescription in the past year due to the cost, and 59% of Americans who skipped a dose to save money have never told their doctor about it.
- Definitive Healthcare, using their own data and analytics alongside third-party research, identifies 6 trends driving the shift to decentralized care.
- 78% of respondents say authentication and security modernization is a high priority over the next twelve months, but 53% have not significantly updated their systems in the past three years— finding that leaders may be overrating their own security readiness in a recent report from rfIDEAS and Wavelynx.
- “The State of Agentic Automation in CX,” a recent report from Talkdesk, found that companies are deploying AI in customer experience faster than they can make it work; with 98% of organizations having deployed AI in their customer journey, and only 15% combine agentic AI with cross-departmental orchestration to resolve customer needs end-to-end.
- Tebra asked 1,009 American workers how their workplace expectations shape their attitudes toward using their PTO and sick days. They found that 88% of workers have worked through illness in the past year and 51% felt the need to stay visible and available while ill to avoid appearing replaceable.
- Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank, released the 18th edition of its “Healthcare Investments and Exits” report, finding that biopharma M&A deals are surging.
- Axis Communications surveyed 1,000 US consumers and found that while 58% indicated they were significantly more comfortable with video surveillance than they were five years ago, this changes from generation to generation, as 32% of Gen Z respondents indicated they have avoided a place due to video surveillance compared to only 6% of Baby Boomers.
- Array Behavioral Care released “Behavioral Health Reality Gap: 2026 Report,” surveying 253 hospital and health system leaders and 261 clinicians across the U.S. to examine why health systems are struggling to deploy capacity to patients and how that affects care. They found that 83% of hospital and health system leaders believe that their behavioral health models are financially and operationally sustainable, but 40% also reported turning away new patients or implementing extended waitlists in the past year.
