- A study from Epic Research found women screened for breast cancer annually have a 17% lower risk of mortality after a breast cancer diagnosis than those screened every two years. Women who are Black, over 60, or in socially vulnerable areas face a higher mortality risk.
- Meanwhile, a second Epic Research study found a link between low levels of uric acid and diagnoses of degenerative neurologic conditions such as dementia.
- DirectTrust released new versions of program criteria for 19 of its accreditation programs, effective January 1. Accreditation covers areas such as e-prescribing, financial services, networks, and registration and authentication.

- VideaHealth received 510(k) clearance for Videa Dental Assist, which includes more than 30 AI algorithms to detect common dental diseases.
- Primary care platform Equality Health is now available for Medicaid beneficiaries in Virginia.
- New England Orthopedic Surgeons (NEOS) is implementing athenaOne EHR, RCM, and patient engagement functionality.
- Digital biomarker vendor Koneska published a model for capturing functional status and health-related quality of life in oncology.
- AI can augment decision support for recognizing stroke symptoms, according to research published by Corti.
- CMS data showed Medical Home Network providers participating in the NeueHealth Premier ACO achieved $10.1 million in gross savings in 2022.

- Data analytics vendor MultiPlan announced Travis Dalton will join as President and CEO on March 1, succeeding Dale White.
