- ASTP has released the HTI-2 Final Rule (it’ll be published in the Federal Register tomorrow). While the rule aims to provide greater transparency on TEFCA processes, Healthcare Dive reported it’s scaled back a bit from the proposed rule, as it’s missing certification standards for payer APIs and health IT tools used by public health agencies.
- An eClinicalWorks survey found 90% of healthcare professionals view AI favorably. Other key data points from the survey help to explain AI’s value proposition: Roughly 60% of clinicians spend more than five hours a week on documentation, and 35% need at least one day to pull medical records from other facilities.
- According to an AvaSure survey, while 74% of hospital leaders believe inpatient virtual care will become integral to care delivery models, less than 14% of hospitals have made inpatient virtual care a standard part of care delivery.
- Roughly 53% of healthcare leaders see patient access as their top area of focus for 2025, according to a trends report from Vizient.
