- A survey from HFMA and AKASA found 80% of health systems are using generative AI in RCM workflows.
- Research from CCS found use of continuous glucose monitors in diabetes care is associated with a 20% reduction in healthcare costs compared to patients with diabetes and no CGM.
- The annual What Patients Want survey from Zocdoc found 16% of patients are uncomfortable with their doctors. Perhaps coincidentally, one-third use ChatGPT or other AI tools for healthcare advice weekly.
- A Carta Healthcare survey found 75% of health systems rely on human validation to ensure AI outputs are clinically relevant and trustworthy. This is largely because nearly 63% identified misinterpretation of data as the top risk of operating without human oversight.
- Interoperability remains a key barrier to AI adoption, according to research from athenahealth: 50% of clinicians say it’s difficult to find relevant clinical information, or that data is incomplete or outdated.
- A Tebra study found 67% of patients schedule appointments in December to avoid resetting deductibles. As a result, the same percentage of healthcare workers said they feel more burned out in December than any other month.
- Research from Johns Hopkins University found an 83% increase in concierge and direct primary care practices between 2018 and 2023.
- Research from the University of Wisconsin found ambient AI technology reduced documentation time by 30 minutes per day per provider and also correlated with a clinically meaningful reduction in burnout scores.
- With a little more than a year to comply with the January 1, 2027 deadline in the CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule, a WEDI survey found 43% of payers and 47% of providers haven’t gotten started yet.
- An Asimily report found 43% of healthcare CISOs identified complete visibility as the medical device security challenge they would most want to solve immediately.

- Doximity launched PeerCheck, a physician-led model for clinical review of medical AI tools.
- Eon launched its new Eon 5.0 platform, featuring Smart Validation to reduced the time required to review AI-extracted findings and place patients into follow-up care pathways.
- Gift of Life Institute launched DonorPedia, a mobile reference tool for organ and tissue donation professionals.
- Hundred Health launched its integrated health platform and app, which leverages a user’s complete health history to encourage health improvements every 100 days.
- Infinitus Systems launched clinical AI agents for patient-facing conversations.
- McCrae Tech, from the founders of Orion Health, launched Orchestral to help healthcare organizations connect diverse data sources with AI agents, workflows, and algorithms
- TRIMEDX launched TRIMEDX-AIQ, which provides supply chain automation and predictive maintenance functionality.
- Wolters Kluwer Health introduced Lippincott CoursePoint+ with Expert AI, enhancing its nurse education offerings.

- Minnesota-based mental health practice Modern MOjO implemented AdvancedMD‘s unified practice management and EHR.
- Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center deployed Luma Health for appointment self-scheduling and management across 17 departments.
- Manifest MedEx selected NinePatch to provide SDOH tools for its statewide HIE in California.
- Colorado-based critical access hospital Mt. San Rafael Hospital and Clinics will implement Oracle Health Foundation EHR together with Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent.
- New Brunswick-based Horizon Health Network selected Qure.ai to support its low-dose CT lung cancer screening program for high-risk patients.
- Florida’s Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute implemented Reimagine Care‘s virtual cancer care program within its clinical pathways.

- Patient navigation platform DexCare announced Rakshay Jain as Chief Product Officer.
