- ONC published a draft of the USCDI+ Quality V2 use case, which builds on the v1 use case released in January as part of an ongoing effort to advance standardized quality data. Public comments will be accepted through July 17.
- In addition, ONC published a notice of funding opportunity for LEAP in Health IT, with Leading Edge Acceleration Projects for agentic AI in clinical care, API monitoring, and lab system interoperability. Applications are due July 16.

- An Arcadia survey found 53% of healthcare leaders report AI insights are only partially embedded into decision-making processes, and just 14% say those insights are fully integrated.
- An eHealth survey found 49% of insured Americans have used AI tools for medical advice – and 63% of these acted on the guidance the received without consulting a doctor.
- A report from Populus Health Technologies found 81% of providers reported improved follow-up appointment completion from patients using virtual care.
- A Quokka analysis found nearly 10% of mobile health apps risk leaking personally identifiable information outside the secure app environment, and 57% have “dangerous” software bill of materials flaws.
- A Smart Communications report found only 41% of consumers say AI tools are helpful in healthcare interactions, despite their rapid adoption.
- A Surescripts survey found 36% of patients want better communication between their provider and pharmacy.
- A TruBridge report found 70% of rural providers are engaged in Rural Health Transformation Project discussions, though 35% believe state Medicaid cuts will outpace RHTP subsidies over the five-year period.

- EBSCO Clinical Decisions and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses are partnering, with AWHONN experts reviewing EBSCO content for clinical accuracy.
- HighRes and Cenevo announced a co-marketing partnership to accelerate adoption of connected lab infrastructure.
- Identify verification technology from Vouched is available for EpicCare Link as part of Epic’s May 2026 release.

- Independent medical practice software maker AdvancedMD announced its 2026 Summer Product Release.
- Arbital Health announced ATLAS, an actuarial modeling capability designed to help ACOs evaluate participation and financial performance under the CMS LEAD Model.
- Bridge introduced the Patient Access and Revenue Suite as part of its BridgeInteract patient engagement platform.
- Clinical data management company Carta Healthcare added 21 clinical registries to its Lighthouse platform.
- Demand-side platform DeepIntent launched Helix AI, an agentic AI platform for healthcare marketers.
- Women’s mental health company FamilyWell Health launched The Menopause Hub.
- Lumeris announced symptom-checking capabilities within Tom, its primary care platform.
- Telehealth provider OpenLoop introduced LaunchPad, which lets brands create turnkey virtual care platforms.
- R1 added real-time adjudication capabilities to Phare OS, its RCM platform.
- SimplePractice announced Care Aide, a clinical workflow assistant for independent mental health practitioners.
- Varist introduced DICOM Detection Engine, which aims to guard communications networks, EHRs, and PACS from AI-powered malware in imaging.

- IHH Healthcare selected Infosys to support ERP transformation, starting with its Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore markets.
- Group purchasing organization Independent Pharmacy Cooperative selected Nimble, a Swoop Company, to simplify pharmacy workflows for members.
- Canada’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health expanded its use of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications across finance, HR, supply chain, and customer experience.

- ECLAT Health Solutions earned HITRUST r2 Certification for evaire, its risk adjustment platform.
- Research from Paradigm found digital decision support platform reduced the total cost of care for health plans for members considering preference-sensitive surgery.
- Phenomix Sciences’ MyPhenome genetic obesity test is now available to patients directly through the company’s website.

- Health IT consultancy Nordic appointed Alicia Harkness as CEO.
- Non-emergency medical transportation company Modivcare appointed Josh Komenda as CEO of the NEMT business unit and Kenneth Shepard as Executive Vice President and Enterprise CFO.
- Health intelligence company Komodo Health appointed Miles Ennis as President; in addition, co-founder Web Sun will assume the role of co-CEO alongside co-Founder and CEO Dr. Arif Nathoo.
- Value-based kidney care company Strive Health named Dr. Jamie Sharp as Chief Medical Officer and Chris Rigg as CFO.
